Not to worry - we'll manage to make a new list. With luck, we'll have something to report at Pe Ell this Sunday and then create a new list of worker-bee's to work from!

Got the message late and went out saturday to help. A bunch of muzzleloaders were filling sand bags and some guy on a front loader was clearing the berm out from behind the chickens. Got all the traps welded and in place over the chickens with fresh sand and a wall of sandbags placed behind and all the way up to the lip of the trap, and the remaing berm being pushed in behind. The berm behind the turkeys was cleared and ready for a layer of sand and more sand bags, Shawn started to clear the rocks from the rams. Mike R. the pres wants to get us shooting by next month. I believe the next step is to get more of the braces for the steel traps cut so they can be welded and we need somebody with a weed whacker as well. I told Mike R. to give Byron a call when he want's to get another work party out there again.

I'm being told there is a work-party schedule for Thursday, 06/19, this week. Start time is 4pm - bring tools and a big, fat smile.

STATUS REPORT 06/20/08

I didn't get a chance to snap a few pics, it was getting dark and late...

We worked from 4pm-9pm welding up the Pigs and Turkey deflectors, dumping in fill and sand, raking the rocks out, and filling 150 sand bags for placement between the racks and berms...

This leaves the rams to be done and it looks like the plan is to finish this all up next week, Wed. June 25th @ 4pm. (They're wanting this finished for Scouts coming in as well as an annual Blackpowder match in July...)

Thanks to all of the guys who have come out and let's try and make a final push next week to get this wrapped up and the matches restarted...

Tell her she has a choice, she can ride out with you to help work on the range, or she can stay home and ride the lawn mower cause the grass needs cutting.

I didn't say anything about cleaning and laundry...you're a big boy you should be able to handle those chores. A condo doesn't sound like you need the lawn mowed so that leaves working on the range right?
Further comments are not appropriate for this side of the berm.

Friend of mine used to put on her bikini, get a cold one, and mow away. Every guy in the neighborhood emerged for yard work and traffic slowed down... Those were some fine looking yards, her tan was perfect and children were safe from speeders, so everyone wins. 8)
