Re: Pharr stock question
I don't think it is much higher but.......... it feels so much different. The Pharr stock and WA wonder's stock are real close to the same. How bout that new title Steve? Like it?

Re: Pharr stock question
Thanks for the help. I have shot a couple and like the fit of the stock but what I didnt look at is the comb height in relationship with the bore. The reason I ask is in my quest for rings I purchased a set that are a little to high for me now with my 1712 set up. The maker of the rings told me they would probably be to tall. But as usual I didnt listen.thanks, Sparky

Re: Pharr stock question
Old Sparky, I measured both stocks using a dowl rod inserted. The angle of the mcmillian is angled, and with a little movement the figures varied between .5 and .6. Not a great amount. The difference was with the amount of extra on the cheek piece. Another half inch there is where the "feel" seems to come in for me. Hope this helps. david
