"Let's see where they wind up" is not only happening in Border States but in my area far away from the Border states. Here local law enforcement gets close to arresting the gun runners stealing from our local shops but then the ATF steps in and forces them to back off. The ATF says it is in our hands now, back off. Meanwhile our local businesses never have their merchandise recovered and the break-ins keep happening. Insurance rates keep going up for them. This is bad all the way around.

All along, the guvment and the leftist media have been telling us 90% of guns illegally imported into Mexico were purchased in the U. S. The first part of that big lie was that, in fact, 90% of guns seized, whose serial numbers could be traced back to American sources. The rest could not be traced, since most of the guns going to the cartels are imported from Nicaragua, Cuba and North Korea and are smuggled into Mexico through Guatemala.

Coincidence that the BATFE is assisting in gun running at the time we are being fed this crap ??? I DON'T think so.

I can’t believe this AAG Bruer…. He’s taking the fall for the Administration and then has the gall to blame law abiding citizens for it. We all knew this was just to build a case for more gun laws and this kind of proves it…. Between Feinstein and this idiot we are in trouble.

Let's see if I have this straight: if there were more laws they wouldn't need to break the law to enforce the law? His message was carefully written after the event to further policy so it still falls short of proving that the point of this play was more gun control. That may have been the point, but this particular charade was designed to obscure more than it revealed.

"In a letter, the Justice Department which oversees ATF says the agency has never knowingly allowed the sale of assault weapons to suspected gunrunners." ATF is now, officially, a piñata.
