It is with the greatest regret, on behalf of our Board, that we must announce that Air America Media is ceasing its live programming operations as of this afternoon, and that the Company will file soon under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code to carry out an orderly winding-down of the business.

Wow - could this week be any more epic?

A Repub takes Kennedy's Senate seat, the NRA (among others) wins a SCOTUS review to over-turn McCain-Feingold and now Air America folds? I need a beer...

I think the air america thing went belly up cuz of frankinstien going to the senate more than any other reason. The leftys have been sitting on the behinds thinking there is nothing they can do wrong cuz "this is whats good for us". there pompus acts have pissed off the people to a piont that we are no longer happy to just let them have there way with us. We may be a cheap date to them, but we still want a kiss now and then.

So true. The repub's lost 09 for the same reason. They have a real chance to make something of themselves if they would just go back to doing things the Reagan way. They too have lost there way and forgot the people. Maybe with S. Brown they can look in the mirror and find themselves again. I hear there is a new guy from Az. running against Mcain. who is alot like Brown. To bad Brown backed Mcain but I think it was more a thanks for stumping for him than anything...I hope.
