Lets see, the rational for requiring concealled carry is so the public won't be frightened. Then the states require a concealled carry permit because otherwise only criminals would carry a concealed permit. Now the Arkansas newspaper publishes every permit holders name. Should be paper be sued for inciting to riot or should the state just allow anyone to carry open since the concealed carry holders are openly known?

On one hand, it's a invasion of privacy on a colossal scale, on the other hand it provides a great proof that government cannot be trusted with registration information, so forget about any kind of new gun laws. That's the the way I'm presenting it to my US representatives. Several of the state legislators I know are CCW holders, and I expect them to use it that way, too.

What do you mean the government can't be trusted? They have only our best interests at heart.

On the other hand, many of the criminals should be shot when they try to escape. I'm not sure how you get them to turn around so you don't shoot them in the BACK of the head.

For a long time I wanted to believe the way so many marines were treated by the Corps was an aberration of the time when it was just business as usual. 'Nuff said - I'll take my lesson and process it for awhile.
