A picture's worth a thousand words...
.. and the first words to pop into my mind were "I can't believe there's only one dead.."

There are a couple other stories out there that show more of the picture with a cop car off to the right like it swerved out of the way of the car that hit the bikes or that the car swerved away from the cop car and hit the cyclists. I've heard everything from jokes about "bicycle bowling" to people screaming for the death of the drunk driver of the car. There was one quote in a newspaper down there that said this, though.
