Anschutz 1712 custom Steve Wooster build. Left handed Pharr-RT-like lightweight painted stock. Old wing-style action was threaded to a Lilja 53RF 4-groove tight bore barrel by Steve's barrel guy, Steve Kostanich. Square trigger guard RTS-style bottom metal fabricated by Keith Cairns of Alpine Machine. Shoots dead on accurate. Makes hunter weight with Leupold 6.5-20x40EFR scope, alumina lens caps, BKL rings, and empty magazine...8 pounds, 5 ounces. 13.75 inch LOP.

Image

Rifle requires Wisner magazines as the stock is too deep for OEM Anschutz mags to fit through the bottom metal. Four Wisner mags included. The thick stock also required an extension of the magazine release lever and this was done with a round-head bolt at the bottom of the lever.

Image

Will include Leupold 6.5-20x40EFR scope, alumina caps and BKL rings for an additional $600. Will not sell scope separately.

This is the first time I have ever wished i was left handed. Nice rifle! Why would you sell the ultimate silhouette rifle? Hope all is well!

I recently acquired another Hunter class rifle. A few years ago Evelio built three 1712 Lilja barreled actions for ChickenGeorge and a subsequent owner of this one ordered a Robertson Composite lefty stock for it before they went out of business. They're rare as hen's teeth and I love it and I'm not letting it go, but I don't need two FrankenHunters.

Mr. Steve, I sure wish I had the extra money, as I would just love to have that just for the metal work and craftsmanship. Beautiful!
