Rule books
Would it be illogical to think that a rule book should go along with a classification book?
I know they can be downloaded etc.One is not much good without the other.
It just seems that it wouldn't be that big of a deal to send them along with class books to match directors for a total of say$15.
Just keep in mind that if the classification books are not sold all the NRA wants back are the stubbs.Yet the class books could be kept for distribution to new shooters.
Its cost prohibitive to order just a rule book from NRA with shipping.$3 rule book and how much to ship?

Re: Rule books
Hi Hermit5, The match director can request a free rule book at the time when approved match applications are sent in to the NRA. Last time I bought a rule book 2007, the shipping was $5 plus $2 for the book. It arrived in about 5 days. Steve Tapp

Re: Rule books
Steve, thats the point.Too expensive to ship one so why not ship one with every class book.
Don't bother saying its to expensive for the NRA.We all know how much stuff we get from them.Any extras could be considered advertisement for the sport.
Maybe alot of the equipement rules issues on this forum could be answered if everybody got a rule book.Save that $5 shipping for NRA PVF or ILA.

Re: Rule books
Thank you for the reminder. I just wrote the Tournament division for an updated 2008 Silhouette Rule book, at NO charge.
If that was impossible, then email me the updated revisions that I can stick in our 2008 Rule book.
If I don't get any response, then will forward to Greg...........
To see if he can help me.

I emailed [email protected] and Barry Ranney, Program Director, replied and will send out the 2012 Rule book noting one change that was made. The newest rule book I had was 2008. Barry's direct e-mail is: [email protected].

It seems now, if you don't ask, you won't get one.
