Yuma AZ gunshow report

Post by jnyork »

Saturday morning 0900 into the show. Only about 2/3 of the tables taken as someone had already put on another show 2 weeks earlier so a lot of the regular vendors didn't show for this one. Quite a few nice old Winchesters, a few schuetzen, several nice older Marlin leverguns. Tons of black rifles of all pedigrees. Handguns galore at retail+. Federal bulk 550 .22LR packs at only $95.00 per, nobody standing in line for those. I did manage to find a very nice 1954 Marlin 39a in excellent+ condition, almost like new, a few closet marks on the stock, $425 out the door so it followed me home. :D

Shoot, we are only getting $50 a pack for Remington 500 bulk packs of 22 here in Florida, although they are actually selling at that price.

Just had a gun show in Columbia, MO. Only one dealer had any .22 shells. $14.95 for a 50 round box of Remington Thunderbolts.

The local gun store shelves remain bare of .22 shells.....
