This is why we wear saftey glasses....

Post by cedestech »

Found it in some 70's vintage federal boxes in the trash at the range... don't know the story and it really doesn't matter. It only takes a second for you to loose your depth perception.... ;)

I once knew this old guy ( ) who went to the range with a .30-30 and a .303 Brit. Grabbed the wrong ammo and fired not one, not two but THREE shots before he figured out something must be wrong.

Glasses Hell... I have a spare eye.....

Back to serious mode.....I can't recall going to a "real" range that would knowingly allow someone to come to the line without safety glasses. There is a reason that you should wear them and jnyork just pointed it out in case anyone needs a refresher..... :)

As an afterthought I will add.... I shoot a lot of handgun steel and have been hit in the face with splatter (some worse than others) a number of times and "somewhere" on the body at damn near every match I have ever been to.
