Random request
Hi all,
I have a random request for fellow silhouette shooters, I have a sako 85 on the way in 260 rem for HP silhouette which I'll be using for both silhouette and hunter classes. In order to meet the hunter class weight restrictions I need to get a Valdada 2 piece picatinny rail, the only problem is I'm in Australia and no company which sells these bases will ship overseas!!! Is anyone willing to help a guy out by mailing it to me from the US if I purchase it and get it sent to someone's address? I will of course pay for any postage charges to Australia as well.

Just a heads up in case ya'll aren't familiar with customs. Send it as a gift and don't list it as a firearm part. A optical fixator or something along those lines. There will be duties and possibly other forms to fill out otherwise....

For what it is worth
Model 85 S, in hand, 260 rem, 22 inch barrel, walnut stock, detachable mag, weight 7 lbs 4 oz, with 18x40 leupold with sunshade and burris z rings 8 lbs 13 oz. Don't have leupold sako rings yet but the burris z rings are steel and heavy. also a nice note is the magazine holds 5 cartridges and the inside dimension is 2.950 inches long.
Plan to cast chamber next week to check on neck size and throat. will advise if interested. yankee
