Thanks for posting...
We didnt make it this year because of a last minute family emergency and not being there has got me "in withdrawal"!
Someone did send me a picture of the scoresheet, but it was too low of resolution to see anything other than black lines on a yellow sheet. That made my withdrawal worse, LOL!

Tim,
We miss you, and pray that all is well with your family. Hang in there. Yes, the weather has been remarkably good for Raton, two more days and 4 more matches!!!

Thanks for the kind words, our patient is home and improving each day. Although it'll take weeks/months, the prognosis is for a full recovery.
WX here has been fairly mild for the time of year lately. Past few evenings its dropped to high 70s/low80s and felt ALMOST Raton-like. Forecast is high of 95 today, supposed to hit 98 over the weekend.
Looks like some good shooting taking place there. Congrats, BTW. Keep us informed!

I just got a quick text message that Mr "quiet but deadly" Ben Taylor won PCCLA with a 71/80.
Congrats to you Ben, and the rest of the family, on a great job!

Re: 2013 nra nationals
Tim,
Glad to hear patient is doing well....tell them to pick better timing next time.
Back to more consistent internet connection. Remarkable weather this year, cool into the 60's at night and mid 80's during the day, light breezes, some gusts during the SB but not bad enough to blow targets down much. Only one light sprinkle at the end of the day 1, otherwise no hard rains during the matches (Sunday before was another story!).
Thanks to hueyw for posting the winners of each class. Several break out scores shot from both B and A classes, great to see new shooters hit some. Some great food as usual at the Founders cabins and in my wing of the competitor housing, not sure about those other wings.
We even had a few Ramslammers events...with the tied kitty going to the target setters tip jar so there was a few days of good money going in the local pockets. Glen K won one of the banks, and some slimey pawn broker from AZ, that can't count, won one (thanks for the new rifle Dennis), and also one of the guys from Ft Worth, shooting on borrowed money.
Look forward to seeing you next year Tim.

What great match! A thanks to all the staff that kept this match running smoothly and to Greg Connor for doing what he does so well. I loved seeing my friends again and will see some of you in Kansas in August.
Just Be Nice
