NH Granite State Regional Aug 18-19th
The annual big event for NH Silhouette is around the corner. We usually get folks from CT and Canada, some from NY. This is my first year "in charge" of the event and I failed to appreciate in January of 2012 that my kiddos would be heading to college the same weekend.
No worries, we have a great group of volunteers who help us out. We have been running this match for years. If by any wild chance you have a reason to come to NH, this is a fun event. Two 40 shot matches for your 80 shot aggregate. For more info, links to the NRA program, etc etc, go

Any questions or feedback, just send me a note to durantjud (you know) yahoo (you know) com

Re: NH Granite State Regional Aug 18-19th
The results are up for NH Granite State Regional. We went from 29 shooters to 37. So, I guess that is the right direction. Still a small number for the amount of work it takes. But, I am glad to see a little extra effort has yielded some progress along the same thread "is silhouette dying?". I guess I am happy to report in NH it is holding its own to gaining steam. The results are on my blog which can be found at end
Some facts and figures.
Total unique shooters 37 vs 29 last year
SBCR 24 vs 14 last year....the most popular game these days
PCCR 12 vs 11 last year----maybe people are tired of the component hassle.
SBR 6 vs 7 last year-----Not sure, I did not get to shoot it this year, too busy.
SBHR 13 vs 9 last year....YEA! My primary effort
Club rifle scooped 14 vs 12.....our future 1/5th shooters
Club rifle iron sight 4 vs 6.....people don't think it can be done.
5 shooters from outside NH. That is the major effort next year. I think I might push it to Sept as it seems like vacation, back to school, end of summer issue are wide open in August.
