Ram Pics
Does anybody out there have any pics of someone standing next to a ram for size reference. Try to explain to a guy I work with how big the rams are and that we can hit them at 500 meters offhand. He doesnt believe me.
Thanks guys.

Re: Ram Pics
This should give them a good idea of the size of the animals. I know everyone I show doesn't believe you when you say they are shot at those distances offhand. Probably because many of them would have a hard time hitting them off a benchrest. So people say things like "you can't lean on anything" lol If you save the images you can see the full picture with people for size comparison.

And here is one of the airgun size sitting on a 2x4. When you put that in the center of the full size ram it looks REALLY small.

While at the Benton Regional we were warming up on Rams when 3 whitetails trotted out and looked at us for a moment. The deer looked much larger than the Rams did I assure you. Being a South La. boy we don't have many hunting opportunities for long shots over 100y much less 500+ and that was the first time I ever had a deer in view at that distance while holding a loaded HP rifle at the same time. Neat.
Here at my house I could pluck them off around my property but nothing over 50 yards max distance and more like bow ranges.

This one is off the CRC website, taken by me. It shows Jim G. on the left. I am pretty sure that hit in the flank was mine...

Re: Ram Pics
ppkny - The first one gives a better perspective to the eye IMO of what the shooter sees on the line. The one with the cars is zoomed in so it looses that true distance perspective. I had a great one of Ridgeway taken from right behind a spotter that gives the full view. It is on a disk and I forget where I tucked it away.

Re: Ram Pics
Bob, I would have edited the fat boy in red out of the picture, and NO, the ram didn't fall from a 7mm hit.
