Sold: 260 Custon Match Reamer

Post by DanDeMan »

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The reamer has been sold.

I have, for sale, a custom designed 260 (6.5-08) match reamer. This reamer was specifically designed for Hunter HP rifles to support excellent accuracy when all rounds are cycled through the magazine. Mark Pharr has my other reamer designed like this one. He's chambered a lot of very accurate rifles with this style reamer. It allows for super accuracy when using the 108 Scenar or 107 SMK bullets; rounds cycled through the magazine. It also shoots the 139 Scenar and 142 SMK bullets very accurately even when feeding the ammo from the magazine. It has a short, tight freebore to align the bullets to the bore very well; and, allows the ammo to fit in a Remington Short Action magazine. The neck is 0.292" in diameter so requires minimal neck-turning. With this type of optimized reamer design, having a chamber neck with no taper, a straight cylinder, and neck-turning the brass is fundamental in developing a Hunter HP rifle what will shoot groups well below 1/4 MOA with all rounds fed through the magazine. Both Hunter HP barrels (both Hart Stainless 8-twist) chambered with this reamer were tack-drivers. To replace this reamer, a JGS custom, would set you back $230 plus someone would have to design it for you and you'd wait probably in excess of 6 months for delivery. I'm asking only $150 delivered to the lower 48. I even have match-load data for the two rifles chambered with this custom, match reamer if anybody is interested. These loads include: cartridge OAL, bullets, powder, brass, primers and scope settings.
