Setting 2 stage trigger weights

Setting 2 stage trigger weights
Just bought a Kidd trigger for my hunter class 10/22 and the total weight is about a pound. Should I set the first stage at 1 1/2LB and the second at just over 8 oz for a total of just over 2lb or any other sugestions

I found that 10oz on the second stage was about as low I could go without having a shot or two every match go before I expected it to. That left me with 22oz for the first stage to make weight, and I added one ounce to make sure I wouldn't ever fail tech.
