Ruger Smallbore Challenge

I just saw an episode of Shooting Gallery featuring the "Ruger Smallbore Challenge" and all I could think of is "Oh crap, another match to pour money into" It looks like a lot of fun! Steel challenge for pistol and rifle.

Yes they are, I've been to a few of these matches and you'll need a whole new set of guns and lots of $$$.

All that money for new guns? Kinda makes you wonder why a gun company would do that.

The only reason I brought it up is that there are a lot of 10-22's (custom and otherwise) and lesser expensive .22 pistols (Ruger, Buckmark, etc). I could be wrong, but the only other shooting sport that's cheeper to get into is silhouette.
