J&P Custom Products - New Sponsor
I'm thrilled to announce to the Silhouette shooting community that Steelchickens.com has a brand new sponsor who is, in my humble opinion, a perfect fit for Silhouette shooters.
J&P Custom Products, LLC is a manufacturer of high quality shotgun and rifle parts. All of J&P's custom products are manufactured in the United States. They also offer selected factory parts for Perazzi and Beretta shotguns. Feel free to click on their ads or go straight to their website from here at www.jnpgunsprings.com
Again, we'd like to thank J&P Custom Products for their sponsorship support!

Here is a list of product categories you will certainly find interesting!

Wish I'd known about them a long time ago!

We have had a number of visits to our website from the good folks here and we appreciate it, Just a reminder to those of you who are shooting custom stocked rifles, we have in stock a selection of hex head action screws from which we can make a custom set of screws for any Anschutz or Suhl rifle. All we need is the shaft length and shaft diameter or your existing screws. There is no additional charge to make screws to your specifications. All our screws are custom made from 1144 fatigue proof steel.

Pete,
Do you make custom springs or only what is listed under your product listings? I am looking to replace a striker spring in an old Mossberg .22 and I'd like to go heavier than original in order to speed up lock-time. Should I email you the dimensions of the current spring and go from there? I think I am going to order some action screws for my new Weatherby XXII as well.

Trent, It is not possible for us to run just a few springs. With the engineering time, set up and machine time we have to run at least 1000. That would be a short run. We are adding to our catalog all the time and requests like yours is what drives our direction. Thanks for the inquiry. We will consider it.
Jason, Thanks for the orders. One of us is usually available to answer any questions or make order adjustments when needed. We want to give you all the best service we can.

Thanks for the response Pete. Would it be possible for you to list the dimensions of the springs you offer on your site? It's possible that a striker spring from one make/model could work for others, or for project rifles (like what I am working on).pete@jnp wrote:Trent, It is not possible for us to run just a few springs. Trent, It would be better for us if you could send us the dimensions that you are looking for. We do have competitors and would prefer that they do their own research. We would need the following information and I would be happy to go through my specs and see if we can match up a spring for you or anyone else. Here is what we need:
1. Wire diameter. Measure in several places and average as wire is deformed slightly as it is coiled.
2. Outside diameter.
3. Inside diameter.
4. Number of coils.
5. Is the spring a closed coil on the end or open coil.
6. Total overall length.
There is a lot more that goes into engineering a spring but this will get us close to something that may work. Please send your measurements to our business email address.

Thank you for the inquiry. I will do whatever it takes to help you out.
