WTB Rem.700 bolt shroud with lock key

Post by Evelio Mc Donald »

Need a Rem. 700 take off bolt shroud with the key lock, to be use in a high power rifle with an old Canjar trigger with no safety, for hunter class.

Hey Evelio, that sounds like a tricky way around the safety issue.
Do you need the complete firing pin system? for a short or long action? stainless or blued?
I will be back home next weekend and should have one or ten in the junk drawer.

Well I talk to Greg Connors about it, and he said, that as far as the trigger won't go off, it is considered a safety. I need just the shroud and the key for a short action, but if you don't have one by itself, I will consider the firing pin assembly.
Thank you.

The only short action one that I have is silver. If youy want it let me know, I could send it to Laura and she can bring it to Winni. or I can send it direct to you. I'll be back in camp Monday night.

Pete, thank you for the offer, but Mark Pharr had a couple of them, and I picked them up this week end at the Texas State shoot.
