rubber butt pad for 1712

Post by kevinpagano »

What lightweight rubber butt pad for a 1712 should I get. I like the grip of rubber against my shoulder.

Thanks

get either a flip flop and cut it up or a piece of shoe foam and fit it to your rifle. light weigh, have plenty of grip, inexpensive, and won't change the balance of your rifle

I'll second Dave. If you're going to be cutting and shaping it might as well be with shoe foam, which is practically free. It really does make a perfect pad. I've got one on my HP Steyr.

i couldn't remember the name of the stuff... it is called shoe crepe. i think you will find it on quite a few of the Mark and Marv custom rifles.

I will get a hold of mark or marv and maybe they can tell me where they get the stuff.

Thanks
