Granite State Regional (NH) Reminder
Just wanted to make sure all the North East shooters plan on heading to Dunbarton, NH aka Pioneer Sportsmen Club 16-17th...that is THIS weekend. The gate will open around 10 am on Friday for practice.
For those of you who have not made the trek, it is a great chance to shoot serious and shoot for some fun. For grins I'll list the fun. 2 40 shot matches for a total of 80 for each gun you choose to shoot. The options include Smallbore Rifle, Smallbore Hunter Rifle, PC Cowboy, SB Cowboy plus some local club rifle fun. Experienced shooters can try for 80 knock downs on the PC 1/2 animals with any scoped gun. Rams can laugh at you if you don't hit them in the spot affording the best leverage. And then you can drag out that old favorite iron sight rifle and shoot at the 1/2 SB (thin) animals and see what you can knock down.
PLUS! A great mactch for youth! With so many different animals and the general excitement kids love to get in the act and shoot iron, scoped, supported, tripod, whatever. Everyone is a winner!
So. See the link for directions. Southwest flies into Manchester! Look forward to seeing you there. You can shoot as many or as few guns as you want when you want, either day, or both days. You start at chickens and go through the banks as the range officer directs.
Last year we had shooters from NJ, NY, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME and Canada! Good fun for all.
