Bushnell 1/2 dot on 8x32

Anyway, on a whim I sent a 8x32 in for a 1/2 dot a few years ago. The dot is pretty big, but I found I like it that way. So I get another 8x32 for the air rifle, and send it in with a letter for the 1/2 dot upgrade. It came back in 10 days with a 1/4 dot. Funny, but they actually sent the letter back with the 1/2 dot clearly requested. So I call up, and ask to return it. The (rude) lady tells me that they do not, and never have put a 1/2 dot in their scopes. I polity say, that this is a custom shop standard, and she claims that the custom shop does not do the 1/2 dot. She actually gets bitchy about it, like I'm a fool for asking. So I politely tell her that I own one, and it is listed on the web page on my computer screen. She never apologized, but is going to ship a return postage label. As a polite customer, I don't need to be insulted. So poor customer service followed up with poor customer relations equals a post on Steel Chickens. I guess my next scope will have a gold ring. Just thought I would rant a bit................
