If you look at the old neskia stocks the forearm is longer and more square, Steve made the forearm shorter and more of round profile to better acomidate those of us who use the split finger way. he also made the palm swell a little more noticable. I've had the old neskia stock and the new ones from Steve, Steves changes made the stock more comfortable to hold in your hands.
BB you'll have to come to the Conard Cup this year and I'll let you take a look at Steves stocks,

just stay away from the beach as our northern sharks like southern meat, just ask Kitty.

That does sound like the stock I wanted! A Pharr Rt/S forearm transplant onto a Nesika stock. And yes, we had tried to warn Kitty about noodling for catfish in the ocean, but he can be a little stubborn sometimes.

I believe Steve Wooster is currently in the same boat as Mark Pharr who is also considering doing his stocks in house. Anyone have contact info for Steve?
If Robertson goes belly up hopefully one of them will continue to have an offering.

Swimming in Long Johns Commander Kitty???? Don't you think the sharks would rather have a little less wrapping on their meat?
While I do not have a Wooster stock, I have had the pleasure of trying some of his and they are very comfortable to shoot, except for that silly green and white thing you made with the
bolt on the wrong side Rooster. But then it was a little short in LOP also.

Austin870a, Steve's email is
[email protected]. Let him know your from the steelchickens group(wait is that a good thing or a bad thing

). It might be awhile before Steve is able to produce stocks but shoot him a email. Steve does his standard stocks in carbon, maybe he's going to do the hunter in carbon as well now that robertson is ( . )( . )'s up.

My 1712 FWT fits wonderfully in Steve's stock. I've had it 3+ years and hold the split finger style.
It's a wonderful thing

After having read this thread about Ian going out of business, I emailed Ian and Kelley and asked if they were in fact calling it quits and shutting down the business. The reply I got from Kelly was that NO, they are not shutting down the business but are selling it.
However, I would hope the quality of the stocks remain as high when the new owners take over.
I have known Ian for 15 years and have come to rely on his excellent stocks. In fact , Ian traded me a stock for some 155gr FB bullets that I had made, saying he could not afford to buy them while I was in Canada, so a trade was struck .That is how we met and became friends. I put my RPA in the stock and went to England and shot at Altcar and Bisley. When I returned home, I spoke with Ian to tell him how much I liked the stock. He told me he had 18 orders for stocks from England!! This was intimidating for a guy who made stocks in his garage with one mold on the weekends!!! The rest is history.
Ian and Kelly soundly deserves a fruitful retirement.

They certainly do! I have to wonder if they are gratified by all this panic in the shooting community?

That's what an email can do, solve the rumors. My BAD

, I had HEARD that Robertson was calling it quits. This is like that game I've got a secret, by the time it gets to the last person its totally different.
