Savage Magazine in the Anschutz

Post by Troy G »

Could someone explain to me what exactly has to be done to the Savage magazine to fit an Anschutz 54:18? I would like some spare magazines for my Annie.

I bought 4 from Brownell's last year. The 2 for my 1712 needed a little filing on the top backside edge to work. I was able to eyeball what needed to be removed by comparing the original magazine to the aftermarket style. The other 2 were for a 64 MSR that a friend had. His dropped in with no filing needed. Hope this helps.
