July 16-18 Smallbore Rifle/Smallbore Hunting Rifle Championships – Ridgeway, PA

July 20-22 High Power/High Power Hunting Rifle Championships – Ridgeway, PA

August 1-4 National Cowboy Lever Action Championship – Whittington Center

August 5-6 National 22 BPCR Championship – Whittington Center

August 7-13 National BPTR/BPCR Championship - Whittington Center

This schedule has been approved by the NRA Competitive Division.

Thanks for posting this. It does clear up some issues with the earlier post I made. It also gives us more travel time between HP at Ridgway and CLA at Raton.

Not at all. I was an observer. The Silhouette Committee just wanted a match director to see if they were going in the right direction. The Committees have been bad mouthed in the past, but what I observed was they are a good source of information for the Competitive Division. They will be more relied upon in the future with the "new" direction the NRA says they are trying to accomplish.........Jim

All,
I received a notice late yesterday that the Tubb Range at the Whittington Center would not be available from August 7th thru August 13th. This was after we were given the green light on the dates. They now said the New Mexico 3 Gun would be using the Tubb Range. Therefore, we have to rearrange the dates. This will affect CLA, 22 BPCR and BPCR/BPTR. Since today was a holiday, we will try to get another "firm" date tomorrow.
The problem is the availability of housing. YHEC ( July 23-28 ) draws approx. 200 youths, and NM 3 Gun ( Aug.7-13 ) draws approx. 250-275. Stay tuned. Sorry................

I think I'll just wait until the NRA puts out the dates. The cast in stone dates seem to keep changing. Thanks for the info, but I'll just wait until it's all finalized.

We have come up with dates that work for CBL, 22 BPCR and BPTR/BPTR with the Whittington Center. It just needs the okay from the NRA. The problem we have had was with other large matches (New Mexico 3-Gun and YHEC ) and the housing availability. Until I hear back from D. Willing, I hesitate to publish the dates. I was burned once.
