As a comparison we had 83 competitors for the HP Nationals in 2015 at Ridgway and only 55 at Raton this year. We need to remember the NRA was able to kill the Hunters Pistol Nationals by saying that there had to be at least 50 competitors to hold one. Having our Nationals stay at Raton is putting our sports Nationals on Death Watch.
The 240 shot Regional at Ridgway, the "Sierra Classic" is a much better deal for those of us on the East Coast and 4 days less driving than anything at Raton.
