WTB: Don Weathersbee’s one piece scope mount

Post by SteveD »

I would love to find one of Don Weathersbee’s one piece mounts.

If someone has one that they are not using or knows where there is one, please let me know.

If someone has the skills and inclination to make one or a couple, please let me know.

I did not know that he made them for anything other than a Rem 40X/700/clone.

He made them for whatever we needed, I still have one for a long action SAKO, a Rem 700 SA and an MS54 anschutz. I gave one away on a Rem 541, won't do that again... Scarce as hens teeth and not willing to part with them.

You also need to know what height you want....most were in Silhouette standard and Hunter heights... within legal limits when using Weaver low rings.

Good luck in your search

Thanks everyone!

I was digging through my old stuff and found one for a Rem700/40X and thanks to a thoughtful member here have since located the guy that is now making them.

I ordered one for my new rifle.
