Stock and barrel

Have thumbhole stock for Remington 700 short action asking $130.00 delivered.
Also have a 22 lr K Kenyon barrel for anshutz 54 purchased for project but never used.barrel is 28 inch total lenght it unscrews in the middle second part is hollow with weights. Asking $225.00 delivered.

Hey frank,
Just curious:
You say the Kenyon "barrel" is 28" long and unscrews in the "middle." Mathematically, that makes the real "BATFE barrel" 14" which would make the rifle be classified as a Short Barreled Rifle once installed, right. Is the actual measurement of the barrel from the muzzle to the breach-face 16 inches or longer?

Another question: Is the barrel tapered (or would I have to use it on the Standard Rifle only)?
