just tried out my 452 varmint!
i just go back from the range, first time out with the new rifle i picked it up 20 hours ago. topped with a priemier boosted 6.5x20 i was getting pretty good groups at chickens and pigs opening up a bit on turkeys and rams.
this gun shoots very well, the trigger needs some attention soon LOTS of creep. seems a bit heavy too. i have been shooting juds ns 522 which has a nice trigger so i am a bit spoiled there.
i am a pretty happy fellow

My experience with the Varmint is that it benefits quite a bit from pillar bedding. Weight seems a little less than an Anschutz 1712 but still pretty beefy. It's one of my all time favorite rifles.
