Montana Silhouette Shooters Invitational

Howdy again. Just wanted to pop in and drop off the entry form for the 2015 Montana Silhouette Shooters Invitational. This match used to be the Montana State Championship but due to technical issues it is now a great 2 day match with 60 shot matches held on September 5th and 6th. On Saturday morning its a 60 shot smallbore sihouette rifle match, in the afternoon its a 60 shot smallbore hunter match. Sunday is the big guns with a 60 shot high power match in the morning and a 60 shot high power hunter rifle match in the afternoon. This is also a leg in the Dakota Territories Championship. Hope to see you all out in Missoula in September!

Not much. Visibility right now is about a mile. I don't think we will notice it at 500 meters. Too much. I'll be out this weekend shooting at the range and I'll give a full report of visibility then.

Ok, killed previous post. Turns out when I came to work this morning the air was clear, but when I went home for lunch the smoke had rolled back in some already. It doesn't smell like you are sitting in a campfire yet, but it may by fri, you never know.

It must be pretty bad. I was checking on hotels over the last week and was told that most of the open rooms are going to fire fighters (jump guys). I hope everybody comes through the other side ok.

Thats odd, I haven't seen that many firefighters around. The good news is its cold and rainy now! The smoke will not be bothering us this weekend. Now the wind, rain and 50 degree weather may have some small impact. Hope you found a place to stay bigfoot. If not let me know and I'll knock on some doors.

That's odd old stranger..................... I can't get a motel room in Missoula. I guess they are either sleeping or over at the strip joint.
