I don't remember getting an entry form. I shot last year and should have gotten one for this year.

Roger is an early bird for advertising his match. Some of us received an email entry form per our request for one.
As you know the range capacity for HP is small at 16 shooters, four relays.

A little history.

Only eight or nine years ago I was the only non resident HP shooter to show up to the Wyoming State HP match. Three from Wyoming made four total. Prior to about 2005 we had good turnout for HP but numbers started to dwindle. We all sat at the dinner table Saturday night trying to figure out a way to save the match from extinction. The difficult decision was made to combine SB with HP on the same weekend. Many bitched about this, but low and behold we got better and better numbers every year coming to Wyoming to shoot.

Fast forward to today. This website, I think, has been instrumental in promoting little known matches around the country. Now Roger is faced with more shooter interest than ever. My bet is on him going back to splitting up weekends for state matches. It is very difficult to run both games there on both days. It is an Ironman match at a smaller venue. The first year we did it the sun was long down when the final HP ram fell that evening. We had awards by light of ATV headlamps. What does the future hold for Wyoming silhouette? I will be there to see.

edit: that first year we shot a 2x60 SB, now it is 2x40.

P.S.

You can always come to Colorado the weekend of September 5th and 6th to shoot our HP state. I can easily handle 32 shooters both guns with four relays. We have targets setters, too. No prepay needed, and cheaper match fee. I would love to have you here.

Hi Rodger

I was wondering if the smallbore match was full and if not I would like to sign up for both rifles.
Have a good day.

Chad, I have rec'd a note from Sis indicating she and Jim didnt expect to come for SB only as HP is full since mid-April. As her app's came with one for your SB, I assumed all 3 may not be coming. However at present there are 2 SB slots. Program on lvsa.com $10 reg plus $20 per rifle. Best wishes Roger

Hi Rodger,
Yes I do plan on coming down for your match, please sign me up for both guns in the smallbore portion. I will be at work for the next 9 days so I will get the check for the match fees out to you as soon as I get back home.
Thank you
Chad

For you who are interested in the Results.

Also watch out for a young and coming shooter Ryan Habeck who managed to give the top shooters a run for their money at 16 years of age. He even got Bonner edge out Bonner in a shoot off for one match. Great job Ryan.

Yes Dave did manage to pull the 4 gun aggregate win this year.

Roger had some great door prizes and put on a great and timely match.

Thanks to those who supplied the ATV's for high power target setting, that really helped speed things along.

Hope you managed to continue this great match.

Thanks Griz, I've had NO success to get the recap and or photo to transfer to SC. Maybe you can. Feel free to do so. Thanks to all that came to the event, worked the line and helped keep the match going forward. Tony and I will get out heads together to see what & when for 2016. Best wishes to all. Roger
