To clear up some confusion about the dates of the match -

The match itself is Saturday and Sunday May 9 and 10. The range will be open the afternoon of Friday May 8 for practice.

We are looking forward to a good match. Houston appears to be drying out from the recent rains - stay posted for range conditions and confirmation of the location.

Lapua has generously contributed ammo and gear for door prizes, and those of you who have tasted Bill Motl's prizewinning cooking know the food will be good.

Great job and thank you to Jim and all of the rest of the Bayou Rifles group for all the work put into this event. The match was top notch as it always is in Houston. The range, food, match organization, etc. were all perfect. As usual, anytime we go to Texas the competition is outstanding and the conditions are challenging. We had a great time!

The match director finally got around to posting the results:

In Standard rifle the match winner was Bill Motl who won a shootoff with Dustin that took 3 best-of-5 rounds - quite a show.
Hunter rifle was won by Elisabeth with a 76 / 80, including a 39 in the first match.
Dustin was second both days and took Overall.
Congratulations to all!
