The 2014 SB Silhouette schedule for Globe-Miami, AZ has been published

GLOBE-MIAMI GUN CLUB 2014 SMALLBORE RIFLE SILHOUETTE

MATCH DATES: Jan 5th, Feb. 2nd, July 6th, Aug 3rd & Sept. 7th.

LOCATION: Globe-Miami Gun Club, 2675 Bixby Rd. Globe, Az 85501. Go to the Gun Club's web-site for directions to the range, or call
or e-mail the match director.

ENTRY FEES: $5.00 Per gun.

COURSE OF FIRE: 60 shot match, 15 shots at Chickens (40m), 15 shots at Javelina (60m), 15 shots at Turkeys (77m), and 15 shots at
Rams (100m). All shots are standing offhand. Standard velocity rounds only. No hyper-velocity ammo will be allowed.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone who can safely handle a rifle will be allowed to participate.

RULES: All NRA rules will apply. All Globe-Miami Gun Club Rules will apply. Rules are posted at the range or on the club's web-site.
Again no high velocity ammo will be allowed to shoot the match.

SMOKING: No smoking will be allowed on the firing line.

ENTRY LIMITS: None.

MATCH TIMES: 9:00AM. Give or take a few.

PRACTICE: The range will be open for practice at 8:00AM on match days for practice. The range will close at approx. 8:50 for set up.

CLASSIFICATION: NRA Classification will apply. If you are shooting

We had our first match of the year today, it was attended by 9 shooters, Jim Goodnight from Colorado blessed us with his presence. The temp in Miami was reading 31 so my guess in was high 20s at the range, but was a nice day at the end of the match. Thanks everyone for showing up today. A special thanks to 259 for being there! Joy Cox took the match 49/60.

Reminder - Last match of the season at Miami-Globe is this coming Sunday September 7th.

UPDATE: JB just called and due to the distance everyone has to travel and the forecast for this weekend and into the first of the week he has decided to CANCEL this Sunday's last match.
