Re: Colorado Thank You
Yep, side bet of sorts. Three teams of three shooters all firing on five chickens each team on the ram line. Best of five in 2:30 wins. Five buck per person entry fee. Bonner, Dahms and me against Louisiana and Missouri's best. Thanks boys, maybe we will return the favor next year...maybe not.
Dave Bonner wins the standard gun 97x120, Dustin Flint wins hunter gun 95x120. Great match, crazy weather. Rain, wind, drizzle, calm, cool temps, fog, high humidity in no particular order all weekend. Never saw the sun.
Thanks Snake, Pat and all the crew that made this another fantastic match.
Bonners teammates carried him on this precision shooting event.....

Re: Colorado Thank You
Just got home an hour ago, Dustin. We went through a MAJOR electrical rain storm in central Kansas last night. 60 mph wind pushing us around. Was keeping an eye out for twisters. Almost smacked into a coyote zipping in front of us crossing I-70. Best light show I ever saw.
Yeah, we ate well last night on you guys. Wendy's burgers and ice cream, too.
Hey, we had to let Dave eat, too. He was a regional champion after all.
He will practice on 500 meter chickens a lot this winter.
Real nice shooting on your part. You came up real quick in HP. Must be all that air gun shooting you guys do down south.

Thank you. It was lots of fun. Can't wait to do it all over again next year.Bob Mc Alice wrote:Just got home an hour ago, Dustin. Glad you guys made it home safe. Our trip was uneventful. Good luck at the CO state match in a few weeks!

Re: Colorado Thank You
I just put my equipment into a nice neat pile ready to head to Lander, WY for the annual Wyoironman match. 4x40 SB and 4x40 HP. Bonner and I leave this Friday am for the 375 mile cross town ride. Just time to clean guns, pack and out the door again. See ya Sunday night late, honey!
Got plenty loaded up, so no need to reload the heap I fired this weekend. I hope Roger is ready for us, got more coming than most years. Cathy W. called us this morning, three from MO will be there again. And a couple from SD, too.
We have a record amount of shooters planning to shoot our state HP. I was hoping to have a couple of messages from club members wanting to help set targets. I had one, a guy backing out on me. He fell off his ladder painting and broke his hip. Looks like the shooters will have to help reset targets this year. Most club members would rather pay an extra $100.00 than actually ...work.

Re: Colorado Thank You
Small Boner says that him and McAlice were not able to sleep Sunday night cause Dahms and Block kept them up with their headboard hitting the wall, Dahms says it was the other way around that Small and McAlice kept them up. I guess it's a case of first liar that gets to the phone.
