FS: Walther LG300 XT Junior - SOLD
Hi Everyone,
If you're tired of ridiculously heavy target guns, but still want Olympic quality accuracy, you might want to take a close look at this Walther. It was intended for the younger or smaller shooter, hence the Junior designation, but the butt pad can be extended to wherever you want for proper POI. The photos of the gun have the stock butt pad spacers, but I'm including a pair I used that add about 2 1/2"-3" in length. This gun has a fabulous history. It was one of, if not the first XT Junior brought to the States by Walther in an attempt to get Beeman to carry the line. It was given to Beeman, they test fired it, then it sat in their vault, unused. A fellow who worked for Beeman was given the gun when they closed their Huntington Beach facility, then it sat in his vault until it was sold to me just a couple of months ago. The gun was shipped to me in the original box that it was in when it came from Germany to the US. You will get the same box.
It has been shot less than 2 tins worth of pellets total, and is in perfect working order. The only bit of wear is in the loading port from pellets being rolled into the groove, on top of the rear diopter adjustment knob, and on the cocking lever where a small amount of finish has worn off from me cocking it. Please see the picture of that area. Besides that, overall, I'd rate it in 99-100% condition. I've been using it for Target Silhouette, hence the scope, but the scope and mounts are not included in the sale, only the gun and accessories as seen in the pictures. Accessories are all of the original ones that came with the gun: Special screwdriver, allen wrenches, cleaning kit, Owner's Manual, test target, Diopter Manual, bleeding tool, long butt pad extensions, 200 and 300 BAR fill probes, front diopter sight, rear diopter sight, 4.2 and 4.0 clear diopter inserts. Another insert is already in the sights, but I don't know the size.
This has been the best air gun I have ever owned, in every performance aspect and quality, but I'm going to concentrate on shooting pistols because of back problems that prevent me from getting in the proper Silhouette stance. The trigger is flawless, it's super quiet, just a puff of air, the weight is light for a target gun, anyone can handle it, and even though it is intended for 10m, I could shoot sub-half inch groups at 45 yards. You will never find a better condition Walther LG300 XT Junior except brand new, and the incredible history of this gun makes it one-of-a-kind.
$1400 shipped and insured to anywhere in the continental USA. Prefer Paypal gifted to avoid the fees. I'm listed on Yellow Classified's BOI with 3 pages of positive comments as Richard Harris, and it will be listed there with more pictures.
Thank You for Looking,
Richard Harris
