Grassroots Prize Efforts at 2014 Smallbore Nationals
Starting this thread to check any updates on the grassroots, shooter inspired prize table at the 2014 Smallbore Rifle Nationals in Raton. If we all just brought one trinket with us to give away, it would be a massive amount of prizes and each person would get a prize to take home. Julie and I are trying to think of some things unique to our state of Mississippi that would be easy to travel home with. Any ideas on how this is going to work? Do we just put our name in a hat and when our name is drawn go pick out something on the table?

Re: Grassroots Prize Efforts at 2014 Smallbore Nationals
Miss Innocent and I have put together about 20 bags of goodies from various places including the Winnsboro Gun Club and the great people shooting there. We were thinking mainly of the B and A class shooters and Juniors in the smallbore game. We have commitments for ammo from Lapua and maybe some other ammo for the bags including screw driver sets, cleaning kits and the like. The thinking was the newer shooters might need and like some of these things. Also some things have showed up that may be given out in drawings maybe pick from the table.
This seemed easy at first but then you have 2 smallbore and 2 highpower guns then all the classes??? At one point someone said that a club or state association could give things out that would advertise the club or match. Such as a brick of ammo form xyz club or abc match. We are open to ideas and goodies. It is a good time for some of us older shooters to clean out the closet or find the top of the reloading bench. Yankee Chad
