How I enjoy the sport is going out once a week during our summer season for our usual Thursday eve matches the past 5 years. Then we have our end of the month Saturday Tournament match during those summer months. January through April, we practice indoor once a week and I attend that. I don't worry about my score as I don't expect much lifting the rifle once a week. It is a sport I enjoy and promote whenever I can. Our club is the only one in our state that continues to have NRA sanctioned matches and everyone pitches in when needed.

For me, it is just another sport, like golf, which I enjoy too. I play 9 holes a week every Tuesday eve in the same league. The rest of the time, I volunteer in the community to help others. I have been an "A" shooter for 3 years and my USGA handicap is 15.

Go out and have fun with whatever you do and if you want to be REAL good, the others have said to practice as much as you can and get pointers from those that are good at what they do.
