sighting in a new scope

I am going to be mounting a 6.5x20x40mm EFR on a CZ 452 American. I will be using Burris signature zee rings. Since I do not have any bore sighting equipment, I will be trying to sight down the barrel and adjust the scope with the Burris shims. The scope is mechanically centered, so I would like to bore sight it with the burris shims as much as possible. I have read that it would be best to center the scope on the turkeys to keep the reticle centered as much as possible between the chickens and the rams. My range has target holders at 25, 50, and 100 yards. Given the inaccuacy of how I will be bore sighting my scope, I would like to do it at the 25 yard range. My question is:
Is there an elevation adjustment I can use to sight my scope at 25 yards, i.e. 6" high, to give me an equivilant of sighting at 77 meters? Once I have tightened down the scope I can fine tune it, but I think trying to do this at 77 meters is a bad idea...or would be just be more effiAcient to have a gunsmith boresight it before I go to the range? Thoughts?

All I do is mount my scopes, go to the range and set up my first target at about 25 yards, get your left to right and vertical close then move to the chickens distance and fine tune it to the exact POI I want, get your settings, zero your caps and then move to the next animal/distance and note your settings. I use a 100 yard center bull with four outer squares and do all the 25 yard sighting in on the targets center bull to get you centered, than use the other four outer squares for the animals at the correct distances.

Bore sighting will get you close but you still need to do the target work so I wouldn't pay anyone to bore sight it. If I lived by you we'd go to the range and we'd have you up and runing in less then 20min.

My first shot is into the 40m berm at a clay bird with someone watching my hit. I think you will have to shim your scope so you can run it out to as far as 150m. You do not want to top out at 100m or even 120m.
