Mine does and it is Not the EFR.... But 40 meters seems to be about as close as you can focus it.

Mine does too (with a little adjustment left to spare). The closest distance marking on the scope is 50 yards, but the adjustment ring turns past that mark a bit. It focuses at the chickens for me when set about halfway between the 50 and 100 yard marks.

These are perfect for silhouette. One of fellow silhouette shooters Laura P, before she left leupold got two fixed power scopes with dots into the product line. They are very good, but you to pay the leupold price. I have a couple.

They do focus down fine for the chickens. In order to focus closer for dry firing in my house I bought an adapter that lets me focus clearly to 40 feet.

If you want to get the attachment to focus for inside dry firing or what not call the factory as there are 2 different thread patterns. I thought the adapter my dad had for his 6.5x20 would work on my 25x and low and behold they don't.

Leupold will give you the model number so you don't go down the wrong rabbit hole.

For the record. I own 3 of these scopes and absolutely love them. I like the half minute dot but that's just my preference.

If you post in the marketplace that you're looking to buy one I have a strong suspicion that you'll find one at a much better price than at Cabela's.
