weatherby markXXII

Post by captkr »

Anyone shot one or know anything about these guns? It's a Weatherby with a Anschutz 64 bolt and action.

I have not seen one yet but my local shop has them on order. I was thinking of one for a backup or a gun for my wife. It might be fun just to have as they will probably quit making them under weatherby name eventually.

I've ordered one for my younger son and he'll want me to set it up, so I may be able to let you know soon.

Collectors Firearms in Houston have these in stock.

It has a very "weatherby" finish & look but still is Anschutz inside. It should be all the 1416's and similar are. Stock feels pretty good with nice lines.

If you got a Mark V it would make a fine companion.

Son got a used, semi-automatic XXII for Christmas a couple of years ago, and wanted this one for his collection.
