Dry fire practice

Allrighty then. I ran out to the range on my lunch break, and the short story is no worries. Zeroed it in, and the AO was crystal clear at the 50 mark for the chickens. Also nice to note that all of my other elevations held true from my old scope to this one. So the whole process was much easier this time then when I was first figuring out all the settings. Now if only I had my 50 ft gizmo so I could dry fire, I'd be all set!

Speaking of dry fire............ The small yellow dry wall inserts you get at your local hardware store feed from your magazine and eject. They were made to dry fire in a 22. About $5 per 100 and they last forever.

Got the adapter in yesterday, and it works like a charm. I can now go back to dry firing in my house. Now if only I had some arm adapters to let me hold the damn thing steady I'd be all set!

Hang a mirror on the wall and your target over your shoulder- will double your indoor range. Added advantage you can watch your wobble.

I haven't gotten out to the range yet, I was just hoping it would focus to 40. There seems to be a bit of play below the 50 yard focus. I'm going out at lunch today to zero it, I'll let you know how it turns out. Also I ordered the 50 foot attachment so I can dry fire in my house. My neighbors would definitely go all kinda krazy if they even saw me with a gun. They are new transplants to MT and seem a little cityfied.
