Party in Lander

There's a party this weekend in Lander Wyoming if anyone's interested, quite a few guys from the front range are headed up. I usually don't travel to much for silhouette tournaments simply because I have a boat and motorcycle. If your in a festive mood bring a 22 or centerfire {it's the state championship} ha ha! I'll be waiting for match results and pictures from Dave, I wish everyone luck and a safe trip. Kevin

Hot as hell here today , Mary. High ninties expected through the weekend. Bonner has a lot more to worry about than little old me beating him this weekend. Of all the ranges in all of the places in this world and after driving 1000 miles in 20 hours....none other than Cathy Winstead and James Severin along with the toddler show up at the range at 5pm. It is my understanding that the toddlers grand parents are enroute to Lander from MT. to care for the young'un whilst Cathy puts a whoopin on Mr.B.

We are taking turns through the night keeping a suicide watch on poor Dave. Grenze took the shoe laces out of his boots and I have his ammo locked up.

Stay tuned for further developments. That is all.

UPDATE: from the Wyoming Ironman Match. Day One Report

Another hot one today at 97-99 degrees. I am beat so I will keep it brief. We had 16 SB shooters and 12 HP shooters firing the standard rifle today. Hunter rifle to be fired Sunday.

The top three aggregate scores are as follows.

Small bore standard rifle:
Cathy Winstead-Severin 74 x 80
Tyler Kamp 70 x 80
David Bonner 64 x 80


Highpower standard rifle:
Cathy Winstead-Severin 69 x 80
David Bonner 64 x 80

Cathy Winstead 30/40 (something came up for Cathy and she had to leave before the final match. I hope all is ok.)

Over all 4-gun champion is David Bonner. Congratulations sir! Dave did admit that Cathy was putting him in the hurt locker until her departure.
