Just Can't Do It!
I have been thinking about what I have seen while spotting and I don't want to say any names, so don't even try to drag them out of me. Boner comes up to the Goatru and I and says make sure you take your ram loads to the ram line. McAlice isn't hitting them, then discovers he has his chicken loads. Another time the Goatru is shooting on bank 4 first ram didn't see a bullet impact but turns out he shot the ram in the first bank, then on his second shot nails the first ram. Another time I was spotting in Mesa, where the gongs are set up like Raton, well the shooter takes a shot (wasn't the 88 year old, but a flowery baby type guy) nails the swinger instead of the standing animal. Most recent it seems that the guy I 'm spotting for now, doesn't know his right from his left. I would really like to help these guys out, but I figure by the time I get done drawing all the pictures that are needed I'll have to steal all of my Grandkids crayons and I 'm not going to do it!

Re: Just Can't Do It!
Aloha, JB. Got home at 10 am. this morning after leaving Maui last night at 10 pm. We had a great time there. Got no sleep at all thanks to a pair of crying whiny brats within a few rows either side of us all the way home.
Any how, in my sleepy foggy memory right now, were we at the same match last week? At no time did I have the wrong ammo on the line. I can not remember cross firing on any rams. The only cross fire I made was a nice center hit on a chicken in bay 2, not my own bay 3. No one was firing on bay 2. At least I hit it.
I did have some local AZ help on one of my pigs, though. On the other hand I had my hands full keeping the Co. champ from helping out other shooters knock their targets down and hitting his own out of order.
I did cut it close on enough ammo for the match. I normally bring 400 rds. with me for the weekend, but forgot to toss in an extra 50 CPT loads. During practice Friday I kind of lost track of how many rounds I fired. Turns out I fired 180 rounds leaving me with a 10 shot buffer for the match!
I was forced to shoot 20 pigs with my 168 ram loads. I burned the 10 a couple at a time for pre match warm up, then used Bonner's 6.5 for a little more warm up. I kinda liked shooting them.

McAlice, You are getting old and forgetful! Those two instances happened in St. Louis. I'll have to give you one thing though, it wasn't you who caused the lady to run away so fast that I thought she was going to break her leg, after the match at the Texas Roadhouse, it was 259, the dirty dog.

Now JB it seems your memory is the one getting foggy on the facts, I believe it was you who engaged conversation with that fine lady at the Roadhouse and tried to give he wrong information that got her running and telling us her husband was a big guyJim Beckley wrote:McAlice, You are getting old and forgetful! Hey I can remember one in AL that asked a certain Texan for his hotel room key, thinking it was his credit card. But then she was already flustered because somebody had said it was no tell Motl's birthday and she carried out a cake and sang, only to have him say it wasn't his birthday. SO you guys in AZ must be doing something wrong to have them all running and claiming to be married!
