Classification

Post by glen ring »

I've been working hard trying to shoot into master class. Last season I had two matches that i shot master scores in. If i shoot one more in 2013 will I be a master, or do i have to start all over in 2013?

You need to shoot at least 3 master scores combined in 2012 and 2013. FYI, after you get that last master score, they will come much easier :-bd

I find they come much harder now. With no goal I'm shooting guns I enjoy or just for a change. To shoot at the master level you have to maintain drive and consistency

That's why I think match directors should post match results from every match on this website. We could have a spreadsheet or something that keeps up with averages, etc. We could even have national rankings within each category like college football :ymapplause:

That should give shooters motivation to keep at it.

I wish there were a some type of national listing, at least of numbers of shooters in each classification for each discipline. The only info you get from the NRA is what number you are in achieving a grand slam, but I'd like to know how many Master, AAA etc, shooters there are

Dustin you had a great idea there. I shoot 3-4 matches a month here in WA. I'm going to see if the guys wouldn't mind me putting the scores up. CLA, Smallbore and Highpower.

I'll post all of ours, too. Maybe Mike will make us a separate section just for match results (hint!)
