I think the price on these is supposed to be somewhere in the $3500 range, and evidently the .22lr is already on its way.

Bob my bet is, if made in .22, it will be a lot less than that or they should only expect to sell very few of them in today's business climate.

Local gun shop has 2 used Browning T-Bolts for sale $500 each. Don't know how MUCH better the Anschutz is, but $3K in ammo is a lot of practice.

It'll be interesting to see what it really ends up selling for. It seems like a custom Fortner action selling for $2000 is a little low.

Who would have thought?

Word is that ISS has one for under $2800, but it's not on their website. Well, if you do the buy now price of $3495 on GB ( I like that stock quite a bit ), pay for the FFL fees, shipping, and then we split shipping to my FFL, and I give you $3000, you guys can carpool to the bank laughing at all the money you made.

You can buy a whole mess of those little rubber donuts to put a barrel and start pounding out 40's like there is not tomorrow.

In that link, Lutz is thinking in Euros, not US dollars. I think he had a touch of jetlag or maybe too much at dinner last night.

If they offer a .22lr version, it will be the same price. Why would you imagine it being much less?

I'm curious, when you had the chance to shoot one, what was your impression? I'm guessing you had a chance to shoot one of the test models to arrive at that conclusion. What is the 5020 trigger? Maybe the action was a bit stiffer than you imagined?
