Aurora SB match.
We had sixteen shooters today for our last scheduled match of 2012. The day started out calm at 38 degrees, but it got a little windy for the second match. The high temp reached 46 degrees but the wind kept you wearing that second layer of clothing. Mr.B won both matches with 36 S and 28 H. Afterwards we had a fun shoot for a ham that Dave provided. Masters had to shoot chickens on the ram line, all others shot at their shoot off animal in a best of five contest. The herd thinned quick after the first five shots. Another five shots side lined all the rest except for three shooters. Steve H. was knocking the stuffing out of his chickens and tied Scott D. on turkeys with four hits each. Another five shot dual put the ham in the front seat of Scott's truck. Dan B. won a $10. grocery gift card.

Bob, thanks for posting the pictures. I beleive I shot my first smallbore silhouette match in the mid to late 1980's on that range. I was in college at the time shooting ISU position matches and had the opportunity to shoot a silhouette match. The range you took the pictures of sure fits the pictures in my memory. Plus I remember the range was in the general vacinity of Denver. I know I have a picture in a photo album, I'll have to find it and see if it is indeed the same range.
