284 Win

I am looking for some loads for hunting for the 284 winchester. I am gonna be using A 140 Barnes and would like to use H-4350 but cant seem to find alot of data. Any help would be great. Thanks Mike

This data is from my 1992 1st edition Barnes reloading manual. It does not state which specific bullet, only the weight.
Using IMR 4350... 49.0 grs.@ 2729 fps. to 53.5 grs.@ 2937 fps. with 140 gr. bullets.

My #26 Hodgdon manual show only bullet weight, not brand or type.
Using H4350...51.0 grs.@ 2732 fps. to 54.0 grs.@ 2957 fps. with 140 gr. bullets.

Both books state test barrels are 22 inches, kind of short for this hot rod round.

Thanks Bob. My wife baught me A special run Browning A-Bolt Micro Hunter in 284 for Christmas and it has just A 22 inch barrel. Should make A nice lte hunting rig. Thanks Again Mike

tHIS A GREAT CARTRIDGE.
i USE 55.0GR h4350 UNDER THE SPEER 145GR BTSP. This very accurate in my rifle and shows no sign of over pressure.
