WTB Lyman 17A .404
Looking for a Lyman 17A globe sight, the older version with the flat dovetail "wings", not the current version with the concave sculpted sides. .404 height, the lowest.

I've been trying that, among other places. Just casting the net.
Wouldn't think they would be that scarce.
Also noted that some pics, like the one on ebay from Opticsplanet, are not accurate. Old pic, doesn't show current version offered. Same with Brownell's catalog.

Guess I haven't seen one of the new ones. I just got one and installed it on my 92 a couple of months ago, didn't occur to me there was anything different, guess I'll go look at it again.
Edit: Ok I see what you mean. Probably on ebay the only place to look is in Auctons Only. Did you try Champion's?

Gave up on finding a Lyman. Wouldn't think they'd be that scarce, they've been made forever.
Found a very nice Redfield of the same type, and took delivery today. Looks to be NIB. Almost a shame to mount it.
