Custom Smallbore Hunter Rifle built by Wayne Merrier from Georgia.

Anschutz 1712 original wing style safety Action makes this rifle more dependable than the new side safety 1712 Actions being sold today.

Wayne put a 2 pound Anschutz 5022 trigger on this rifle which is the same trigger that comes on the more expensive 54.18 MSR actions. The trigger is fully adjustable in every way: 1st stage weight, 2nd stage weight, sear engagement, length of travel, etc.

This action is the best of all worlds: the 5022 trigger and the 1712 wing safety action. This is the way Anschutz should build rifles. This combination has less moving parts than any other fully adjustable trigger.

The barrel is a polished stainless 4 groove Lilja Tite-bore. Wayne tastefully lasered a small "WM" in a circle near the receiver and a ".22 LR Lilja" a few inches forward of the receiver on the left side of the barrel as is his normal procedure.

The stock color is a triple fade granite gold forend to red/gold granite to solid red at the buttstock.

The stock is a pillar-bedded Pharr RT/S Split Finger. I just checked with Mark. New stocks are still not in production. The buttplate is the signature horizontal rib Merrier that keeps the rifle firmly in your shoulder.

Square trigger guard. Pharr larger afermarket bolt knob. Widest Pharr trigger shoe. 1/2 inch wide I think.

With a Weaver T-24 and BKL 257A rings the rifle weighs 7 pounds, 14 ounces. There is plenty of room to add weight or go to a heavier scope. The scope and rings are only on this rifle because I may pick it up, shoot practice and/or match with it as the notion hits me.

I do not have the original box or instruction manual. The rifle will be packed well for shipping and will include one of Evelio's Savage magazines that work better than the factory Anschutz magazines. PDF files are readily available online if you need instructions for trigger adjustments or for the rifle.

Be sure that your FFL will accept Firearms from an individual!!! Signed copy of your FFL is required with payment.

I will only ship to the Continental 48 States(CONUS). California residents are warned that there will be no refund if the rifle does not make it to California because of restrictive State Firearms Laws in California!

I am very hesitant to sell this rifle but I am running out of room. The function, feeding, extraction, ejection and accuracy of this rifle is outstanding. The rifle is not picky about ammo. It shoots Wolf and SK-Jagd well.
