.32-20 Expander
For you .32-20 shooters, what is the best diameter for an expander plug, and loading lead bullets?

The Lyman M-die seems to work quite well from reports but I haven't personally used one on the 32-20, given I don't have one I can't measure it for you.
I have a set of RCBS Cowboy dies which most likely have a very similar expander plug to the M-die. Using that die .314 lead projectiles fit nicely in the necks. I don't have the dies handy but I'll try to remember to measure the expander plug tonight. My guess would be it is likely a .315 plug or something similar to allow for spring in the brass neck.

I use a set of standard Lyman dies and load my own lead bullets from a Lyman 115 grain mold. Bullets are lubed and sized in a very old Lyman sizer luber and works very well. No issues except brass is thin but I have over 10 loadings so far and intend to go to 15 and then start with new cases. I use the old standard load of 4.5 grs of unique with the 115 gr bullet.
